2009 East African Human Rights Moot Court Competition
Participating Universities Announced

The Leitner Center for International Law and Justice at Fordham Law School, in partnership with The Institut d’Enseignement Superieur (INES) in Ruhengeri, Rwanda are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual 2009 East African Human Rights Moot Court Competition.  The competition is being held September 27-30 in Kigali, Rwanda and will include participation from both Francophone and Anglophone African universities.

The Sustainable Development Legal Initiative (SDLI) at the Leitner Center supported the first regional human rights moot court competition in Africa’s Great Lakes region in March 2008, where Fordham Professors Tracy Higgins, Jeanmarie Fenrich and Paolo Galizzi served as judges for the competition. The second competition will be held in Rwanda in 2009.
